The women’s health service at Molineux brings together GPs with a specialist interest in women’s health and a consultant gynaecologist from the team at Newcastle Hospitals.
We offer assessment, advice and treatment in a community setting. This aims to improve access to care and reduce the need for some women to attend hospital appointments.
You currently cannot self-refer to this service. You will be advised by your health professional if you have a referral to the team at Molineux.

Please note: parking is very limited at Molineux, so we advise you get to your appointment in plenty of time if you are driving, or that you use public transport.
NEW Patient engagement report
We have published an engagement report that brings together the experiences, views and feedback shared by women who took part in a range of activities to help shape our new community women’s health service.
The report highlights the experiences of women living in Newcastle and will play an important role in guiding the continued development of the service as we evaluate the pilot and consider how the women’s health clinic can best meet the needs of our patients.
Focusing on personal experiences and qualitative feedback, the report complements existing national, regional and local data. Most importantly, it provides an opportunity to listen directly to women in Newcastle.
We are grateful to everyone who shared their time, thoughts and experiences. Their contributions will help shape services that are more responsive, accessible and supportive for women across the city.
